Sacramental Preparation Program

Baptism Parents must contact the rectory and arrange to participate in our parish’s baptism class. Prospective parents should telephone the rectory about three months before the expected birth to discuss the arrangements for your child's baptism and enroll you in the required baptismal class. The child's birth certificate as well as the godparents' "sponsor certificate" (godparents must be practicing Catholics) must be presented before a date is finalized.

Level 1 & 2 -- First Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist – The preparation program is a two-year process. Children entering First grade are eligible to register for the Level 1 program and will receive their First Holy Communion after their completion in the Level 2 program.

Level 7 & 8 – Confirmation Preparation is a two-year program that accepts those students who are entering Seventh grade and have participated in a Faith Formation program.

Transitional program – This program is for those children who are looking to participate in a Faith Formation program and fall into one the following categories:

a.       Not baptized but are 7 years of age or older
b.       Baptized but have not attended a Faith Formation program and are
        older than first grade
c.        Have not attended a Faith Formation program since celebrating
their First Communion and would like to celebrate Confirmation

The children that fall into these categories will need to contact the Director of Faith Formation/Evangelization, Mrs. Lisette Robustelli, to discuss your specific situation.

All sacramental preparation programs (Level 1 & 2 and Level 7 & 8) have a parent/guardian component.  Parent gathering dates will be sent out with the child/children’s session assignment.
